If you want to apply discounts to individual products, you’ll need to create a cart rule or special price instead (in the pricing tab of the product edit page).
For example, you can set a rule that Spanish customers in the “Good Customers” group are entitled to a 10% discount on “Electronics” products and all Sony products in the first week of July.
